Redesign of corporate intranet

Outgrowing the previous intranet, a more powerful platform was needed to support the network of 5000+ employees based in three business hubs in Maidenhead, Reading and Glasgow, along with 311 retail stores across the UK.

I worked with the People Digital Tools team to deliver a new responsive intranet that not only greatly enhanced the digital experience inside the organisation but gave people tools to get things done. Supported by online apps such as Performance Review, Skills Explorer, DevelopMe, Learning Hub, and Retail Visit App – all designed by myself and the PDT team.

The intranet proved to be a tremendous success, seamlessly integrating into daily business operations and actively contributing to the growth and success of its employees.

I created 54 additional icons to support the new platform, on brand and in keeping with the existing set.

People Digital Tools Roadshow Video

I joined the People Digital Tools team, a collective of skilled UX/UI designers and developers assembled to create the intranet. My role within the PDT team focused on supporting the UI, ensuring the completion of the intranet’s visual aesthetics for its impending launch. Two months post-launch, I took the initiative to produce a video showcasing the numerous features of the new platform and highlighting its significant impact within a short timeframe. The video was featured at several company roadshow gatherings attended by over 3000 employees, presenting an excellent opportunity to showcase the achievements of the PDT team and gain exposure within the organization.
